On September 28, Taneja addressed the separation rumors in an Instagram post, confirming the split without providing a formal statement. He emphasized that “social media is not a place to discuss family matters,” expressing hope that “everything will be sorted soon.” Taneja also mentioned that men are “made villains very fast” by society and preferred not to give a public explanation for their children’s sake.

Ritu Rathee shared a separate post shortly afterward, acknowledging the issues in their marriage and stating they might not resolve them. In her video titled “Divorce Reality Check,” she criticized those spreading rumors, stating, “A small thing happened between a husband and wife. He thought he was right, I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I,” and asked followers not to villainize Taneja.

Speculation on Reddit about their relationship intensified following the couple’s latest photo, with users discussing whether they are repairing their relationship.
