Elon Musk is also known as the richest individual in the world, a tech mogul, and one of the most influential figures in former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration. Yet, few people know that he is also a keen gamer. Even though he is in charge of huge corporations such as Tesla and SpaceX, Musk has found a place in the top 20 Diablo 4 players. He recently posted a video playing the game, surprising fans with his abilities. His surprise gaming skills have left people wondering how he gets time for it in between his hectic schedule. There is even rumor that interns may be working on his behalf.
Apart from his talent, Musk’s gaming equipment has also received focus. He operates with the Samsung Odyssey Ark, an elite curved gaming monitor. Diablo 4, a title in the esteemed Diablo series, features dark fantasy lore, overwhelming combat, and rich storytelling. Players engage with demonic forces commanded by Lilith as they attempt to vanquish strong foes and level up their equipment to live on.

In contrast to its forebears, Diablo 4 has an open-world approach, where gamers are free to venture across five distinct territories at their leisure. The game has six primary character classes—Barbarian, Sorcerer, Rogue, Druid, Spiritborn, and Necromancer, each with special strengths. The dark environments and fearsome monsters add to its dark, engrossing atmosphere.
After Musk’s video post, social media was filled with responses. One of the users jokingly said, “Right after this video, the 18-year-old intern was back at it playing with your account. Nobody thinks that you are the world top 3 player between running the federal government and running world companies. Do better, this is just not possible.”
Another user, inquiring about his configuration, asked, “What monitor is that?” and someone replied, “Samsung Odyssey Arc. I love mine.”
A few users proposed other games, with one commenting, “I never heard of this game. You need to play Counter Strike, lol,” and another proposing, “Elon go for a classic. Play some old school Resident Evil.”
One lighthearted remark stated, “I think my monitor is larger, though I do not sit that close.” Another person imagined a different situation, stating, “Please say you’re at the White House doing that. I want to have this image of the wealthiest man on earth, at the White House, in his closet-sized office, mending our dysfunctional government, letting off some steam playing a video game. That would be great.”
Based on the recent rankings, Musk is ranked 15th in Diablo 4. He is one of only five American players within the top 20, with most of the top-ranked players being from China.
