Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh is making waves as he arrives in Jaipur for a highly anticipated concert, part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. Before his Sunday night performance, Dosanjh was given a warm royal welcome by Princess Diya Kumari, a member of Jaipur’s Royal Family and Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister.
In a video shared on Instagram, Dosanjh showed his arrival in the vibrant Pink City, expressing gratitude, “Beautiful pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan…it was a beautiful experience, thank you Princess Diya Kumari.” For concertgoers, he added a playful message: “Dal Bati Churma khaa ke aana baut Bhangra hone wala hai aaj shaam ko (Have Dal Bati Churma before coming, there will be tonnes of Bhangra this evening) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24.”

The video captures Dosanjh riding in style on a horse-drawn carriage, dressed in a crisp white suit and black turban, accompanied by Princess Diya Kumari, who shared stories about the palace’s grandeur. It also shows Dosanjh enjoying a traditional dinner with the royal family, a scene Princess Diya Kumari later posted on her own Instagram.

Additionally, Dosanjh shared moments from Jaipur’s iconic sites like Nahargarh Fort, where he sat quietly, hands folded, watching the sunrise, as well as Amer Fort, where he fed pigeons.
Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour is scheduled across India, including cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Bengaluru. Initially touring Europe earlier this year, he made history as the first Punjabi artist to perform at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, and he graced the cover of Billboard Canada as the first Indian artist featured.
