Videos circulating on social media showcased long queues of customers outside liquor shops, with many purchasing cartons and boxes of alcohol. Most clips featured all-male crowds eagerly waiting to avail of the discounts. One viral video captured a man carrying a massive box filled with liquor bottles, while another showed customers discussing the overwhelming footfall at stores.

Delhi Residents Cross Borders for Cheaper Alcohol
A Delhi resident, speaking to Bharat Samachar, revealed that he traveled to Noida’s Sector 18 to take advantage of the discounted prices. He claimed that while some stores didn’t offer the ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ deal, the bottles were available at significantly lower rates compared to Delhi.
“It is not free in Delhi. The licenses of these stores are expiring soon, so they are on clearance sale now. I purchased 29 quarter bottles of 100 Pipers and a few bottles of Royal Stag,” he said in the video.
With liquor prices set to change under the new policy, customers in Noida are rushing to make the most of these last-minute offers before the current stock runs out.
