Indian weddings are famous for their size and grandeur, and the Vidai is one such moment when the bride says goodbye to her natal home to start life anew with her husband. But in a remarkable turn of events, a Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh family turned the emotional sendoff into a festive affair by adding bulldozers to the Vidai procession.

A clip of this unprecedented moment, with a procession of a dozen bulldozers trailing behind the newlywed couple’s vehicle with blaring music, soon went viral, leaving social media users stunned. While luxury cars and even helicopters have been spotted at weddings, bulldozers in a Vidai procession were unheard of.

The video, posted on the social media site X by TRUE STORY, was captioned, “Bulldozer waali dulhan.”
