BJYM Protest Turns Violent: Rahul Gandhi’s Effigy Burned In Jabalpur

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today staged a fierce protest in Jabalpur against Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and burnt his effigy while protesting an alleged controversial statement made by Gandhi against the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The protest was seen at Ambedkar Chowk, where a sizeable crowd of BJP youth workers gathered, raising slogans targeted at the Congress leader and his party.

Scuffle Breaks Out with Police

Tensions ran high during the demonstration, resulting in a scuffle between the protesters and the police. Large numbers of officers were deployed to ensure law and order was maintained. BJYM district president Yogendra Singh was vocal in his criticism, warning that Rahul Gandhi would not be allowed to enter Jabalpur following his remarks.

Strong Reaction Against Congress Leadership

Singh condemned the Congress leader’s comments, accusing the party of disrespecting not only BJP leaders but also its supporters and workers. He stated that such behavioUr would no longer be tolerated and that the BJP youth wing would respond strongly to future provocations from the Congress.
