A couple experienced an unforgettable surprise on their wedding day when the bride’s parents gifted them two tickets to a Coldplay concert. Utsavi Zatakia and Smeet Doshi received this incredible present more than eight months ago, but their reaction has recently gone viral, fueled by the renewed excitement surrounding the British rock band, set to perform three shows in India in January 2025.
In a video initially shared on Instagram back in February, Utsavi and Smeet were seated at the mandap when the bride’s mother handed them an envelope. Curious, they opened it and their confusion quickly turned to joy upon discovering that the envelope contained tickets to Coldplay’s concert in Thailand.
The Instagram Reel has garnered nearly 4 million views and hundreds of comments. It has resurfaced and gone viral again, driven by Coldplay’s growing popularity in India.
Take a look at the viral video below:
Sharing the video on her Instagram Stories earlier today, Utsavi wrote: “Mom and dad gave us the best wedding gift ever. They predicted that the tickets were going to be sold out.”
The Grammy-winning band had held two performances at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 3 and 4, 2024.
Overwhelmed by the surprise, Utsavi clasped her hands over her mouth in disbelief, while Smeet repeatedly thanked his father-in-law for the thoughtful gesture.
