A 3D billboard in Bengaluru has captured the attention of commuters, sparking mixed reactions. While some admire its creativity, others criticize it for being a potential distraction to motorists. The ad, promoting the restaurant chain Bangalore Thindies, features a man seemingly pouring filter coffee directly out of the billboard, making it appear as though he’s offering coffee to the public.
Sharing the video on Instagram, the restaurant stated, “3 new locations in one day. There can never be enough of places to have some good Podi Masala and filter coffee.”

On X, a user called it a “Peak Bengaluru Moment,” a phrase often used to describe unique events in the city. Another post, which has received over 120,000 views, read: “Hot Coffee to Sip from Skies, Next Level Of Advertisement In BANGALORE!”
Internet reactions were varied. One Instagram user commented, “Is this real? It’s just fabulous,” while another asked, “Spectacular. Where is this hoarding located?” praising the creative marketing.
However, the 3D hoarding faced backlash from those concerned about road safety. One user remarked, “Eyes on the hoarding, road, pothole, pedestrians, vehicles… not a good idea.” Another added, “This is a distraction to drivers. Can lead to accidents.”
Some users also raised safety concerns, referencing the collapse of a billboard in Mumbai that tragically claimed 17 lives. They pointed out that the hoarding’s size could be hazardous during extreme weather, such as heavy rains or storms.
