Trump Doesn’t Drink: What His Doctors Discovered and Prescribed

Trump Doesn’t Drink: What His Doctors Discovered and Prescribed

President Donald Trump has been prescribed several drugs after undergoing his recent medical checkup, a report published on the White House website states. Trump has been told to take rosuvastatin and ezetimibe to manage cholesterol, aspirin to prevent heart problems, and mometasone cream for a skin ailment.

The medical report, which was published by Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, the doctor of Trump, read: “The skin exam was unremarkable with some minimal sun damage and a few lesions. No suspicious lesions or growths were noted.” The physician added that the former president’s results for urinalysis were within normal.

Trump’s past medical history includes well-controlled hypercholesterolemia and seasonal allergies, as well as a prior COVID-19 illness. Moreover, he also treats several benign conditions like rosacea, actinic keratosis, benign nevi, diverticulosis, and a benign colon polyp.

With regard to previous surgeries, Trump has had an appendectomy at age 11 and also cataract surgery in both eyes. Interestingly, the report also mentions that his social history reveals “lifelong abstinence from tobacco and alcohol.”

The important health statistics of the check-up reveal his vital parameters to be within the desirable limits.

His lipid panel is as follows:

  • Triglycerides: 56 mg/dL (Normal: <150 mg/dL)
  • HDL (Good cholesterol): 77 mg/dL (Desirable: >40 mg/dL)
  • LDL (Bad cholesterol): 51 mg/dL (Ideal: <100 mg/dL)
  • His Complete Blood Count (CBC) readings were also normal:
  • White Blood Cells: 4.4 K/uL (Normal: 4.0–11.0 K/uL)
  • Hemoglobin: 14.5 g/dL (Normal: 13.8–17.2 g/dL)
  • Platelets: 229 K/uL (Normal: 150–450 K/uL)
  • Metabolic panel tests showed:
  • Glucose: 89.7 mg/dL (Normal: 70–99 mg/dL)
  • Hemoglobin A1c: 5.2% (Normal: 4.0–5.6%)

The report also established that kidney and liver functions are within normal limits:

  • BUN: 18.2 mg/dL (Normal: 7–20 mg/dL)
  • Creatinine: 0.89 mg/dL (Normal: 0.74–1.35 mg/dL)
  • ALT: 41 U/L (Normal: 7–56 U/L)
  • AST: 28 U/L (Normal: 10–40 U/L)

Other significant markers are:

  • Vitamin B12: 486 pg/mL (Normal: 200–900 pg/mL)
  • PSA: 0.10 ng/mL (Normal: <4.0 ng/mL)
  • TSH: 1.42 IU/mL (Normal: 0.4–4.0 µIU/mL)

In short, the doctor concluded, “President Trump displays excellent cognitive and physical health and is completely capable of performing the functions of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”
