Anuj Chaudhary, Chandausi’s Circle Officer (CO), who became the talk of the town after the Sambhal violence incident, was promoted by Yogi Adityanath government to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP).

After the promotion, Anuj visited Vrindavan to seek Premanand Maharaj’s blessings for his new journey. During the visit, he asked Premanand Maharaj a question that quickly went viral on the internet.

Anuj Chaudhary discussed the challenges of police force while performing duties for the nation with Premanand ji. He asked about the situations where criminals escape just because of the lack of evidence or when innocent people face dire punishment due to fabricated evidence or false witnesses.

Chaudhary questioned, “Many times, criminals escape due to a lack of evidence. In some cases, innocent people are punished. What should be done in such a situation?”

Premanand Ji simply responded, “This is the destiny (fruit of his deeds) of his sins, which he will have to suffer. You cannot do anything about it.”

He also gave Anuj a ‘mantra’ to be free of sins.

He explained that an innocent person facing punishment is actually reaping the fruit of his past life sins. “You are not guilty in this,” he assured Chaudhary.

Anuj Chaudhary asked another question through a scenario, “Sometimes such a situation arises where a plaintiff’s son dies, and the plaintiff accuses someone of murder, while the accused denies it. We have no evidence and no eyewitnesses. Since neither we nor the victim party saw it, in that situation, if we release him, will it be right?”

Maharaj technically replied that he cannot be released because there is an FIR. “He cannot be released because there is an FIR. There is no solid evidence available that he is a criminal.”
