Director Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, revealed that she was invited to some events of Anant Ambani’s wedding but did not attend out of “self-respect.”
Aaliyah Kashyap, described the wedding as a “circus” in a Instagram Post alleging that the Ambani family had invited certain individuals for PR purposes.
“The Ambani wedding is not a wedding at this point it’s become a circus,” Kashyap stated
“I was invited to some events because apparently they’re doing PR but I said no because I would like to believe I have a little more self respect than to sell myself out for someone’s WEDDING,” she added.
Anant Ambani to Wed Radhika Merchant, on July 12 in Mumbai. Pre-wedding festivities included a three-day event in Jamnagar with guests like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, followed by a luxury Mediterranean cruise.
Ahead of the wedding, the Ambani family hosted multiple events in Mumbai last week, including a Garba Night, Haldi Ceremony, and Sangeet featuring performances by Bollywood stars.
