A man riding a scooter was robbed of ₹85 lakh in a daring daylight attack on the Delhi–Lucknow highway. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and police have started an investigation.
The robbery took place on December 15 in Hapur. The victim works as an accountant for a businessman based in Noida. He was returning after collecting office cash when the attack happened.
How the Robbery Took Place
CCTV footage shows the accountant riding his scooter when a motorcycle suddenly overtook him and came close to his vehicle. At the same time, a car is also believed to have been involved in helping the attackers.
The bike riders kicked the scooter, causing the man to lose balance and fall on the road. As soon as he fell, the robbers grabbed his bag filled with cash and fled from the spot.

Victim Fell and Rolled on the Road
The video shows the man rolling on the road several times after being pushed off his scooter. His vehicle also skidded before coming to a stop. The shocking visuals have gone viral on social media.
Police Launch Manhunt
Police have released photos of the suspects involved in the robbery. A reward of ₹50,000 has been announced for each accused to help in their arrest. Officers are using CCTV footage and other evidence to track down the criminals.
