During the last day of election campaigning in Rajasthan on Thursday, every candidate made efforts to seek as many votes as possible by visiting people’s homes. Meanwhile, a video of Congress candidate Dayaram Parmar from Kherwada is going viral on social media. In this viral video, the Congress candidate can be seen giving money.
However, Dayaram Parmar claims that he was giving this money only as a token of good luck, not to lure people. He had gone to campaign in all the villages of Kherwada constituency. He is also a former MLA from here. During his visit to the village, he informed the Congress candidate about various issues, including roads, in the rural area. At that moment, Dayaram Parmar took out a 500-rupee note from his pocket, removed one note, and handed it over.
Since then, Dayaram’s video has been shared on several platforms. When asked about it, he dismissed it as false, saying he had applied tilak, and the money was given for that purpose. He explained that a girl welcomed him, applied tilak, and was supposed to give him 100 rupees. He was only looking for 100 rupees among the 500 rupee notes.
