Lady Gaga, while surprising her fans, sung her original on closing act during FireAid event for wildfire in Los Angeles. On Thursday, almost two dozen performers met in Los Angeles for the FireAid event, which provided an incredible evening of music and compassion. The A-list event, hosted at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood, lasted five hours and raised critical donations for families affected by the tragic wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

Original by Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga, one of the evening’s most anticipated performers, surprised the audience by debuting an original song as her closing act. In addition to the new song, she performed hit numbers from her 2018 film ‘A Star Is Born’.

As Lady Gaga wrapped up the event, she shared heartfelt words with the audience, saying, “This has been a horrible scary time. But during these times, I feel like people come together and we see how much we need each other. And I want to always remember us just like this,” as reported by NBC News.

Star-Studded Lineup Lights Up the Stage

The concert lineup was a powerhouse with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Katy Perry, No Doubt, Earth, Wind & Fire, Dr. Dre, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Nicks, Anderson Paak, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Mike Campbell, and Olivia Rodrigo.

The surviving members of Nirvana were also the best performers with Nirvana’s most popular songs by Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear, alongside St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett, and Grohl’s daughter, Violet, an event that nobody can forget about.

Artists in Gratitude and Resilience

Many artists performed to thank the first responders and pay tribute to Los Angeles’s strength in the face of the wildfires. Gracie Abrams, a Pacific Palisades native, highlighted the power of music and community as her neighborhood faced severe wildfire damage.

“I think that this is just such a beautiful reflection of what music does, is bring people together in this way and I’m just inspired by all of you in this community, and I love Los Angeles very much,” she said.

Impact and Global Reach of FireAid Concert

The initiative was spearheaded by music industry mogul Irving Azoff and his wife, Shelli, in collaboration with Live Nation and the Los Angeles Clippers. They managed to team up with 25 streaming platforms on the FireAid website, ensuring fans across the globe could tune in and contribute to the cause.

Azoff, former CEO of Ticketmaster and a leading figure in the industry, said that the team was working hard to maximize aid for those affected. All proceeds from the event will go toward wildfire relief efforts. Organizers assured attendees that Steve Ballmer, owner of the Clippers, and his wife, Connie, pledged to match every donation made, amplifying the impact of contributions.

Heartfelt Moments and Community Support

Besides the performances, speakers filled the stage with firefighters and residents who lost their homes in the wildfires. There was Grayson Roberts, 10 years old from Altadena, whose family lost everything.

With a strong spirit, he addressed the crowd cheering for him, saying, “When life gives you lemons or burnt houses, you make lemonade.” This concert will stand out as a powerful testimonial for the spirit of unity and support in trying times- indicating, in essence, that music still is a healing and hopeful force.
