Beyoncé and Jay-Z are no longer involved in a sexual assault lawsuit against music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs. Joseph Manzaro, the man who filed the case, submitted an updated complaint to a Florida court on April 11. He removed the celebrity couple from the list of people allegedly present at a 2015 party where the incident occurred.

Lawyers Submit Evidence of Their Whereabouts

According to People magazine, the couple’s legal team gave strong proof that they were not in Florida at the time. Jay-Z attended a public event at New York University. After that, he traveled to Hawaii with Beyoncé. Media reports from that period confirmed their schedule.

Manzaro Describes Shocking Events at Star Island

Originally, Manzaro claimed that Combs hosted a birthday party for his son at a Star Island mansion owned by Emilio and Gloria Estefan. He said someone drugged and humiliated him there. Later that night, he was allegedly moved to another party and forced to wear a sex toy mask in public.

Jay-Z’s Lawyer Strongly Denies Involvement

Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, firmly rejected the claim. He said, “Jay-Z wasn’t in Florida at that time to witness this incident — he was engaged in easily findable public activities that prove he was not at this event.” He also added, “This is more nonsense that erodes the trust in our ‘justice’ system.”

Other Celebrities No Longer Named

Although Beyoncé and Jay-Z were never named as defendants, the original filing listed them as possible witnesses. The same went for basketball star LeBron James and singer Gloria Estefan. However, the updated lawsuit now leaves out all of them. Only Emilio Estefan remains named in the case.

Combs Faces Graphic and Disturbing Accusations

The complaint accuses Combs of ordering non-consensual and degrading acts against Manzaro. In one example, Manzaro was allegedly forced to wear a thong and a locked sex device. According to the lawsuit, Gloria Estefan tried to get medical help twice but Emilio Estefan stopped her.

Combs’s Legal Team Rejects the Claims

Combs’s lawyers have completely denied the accusations. A spokesperson said, “This complaint demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday.” They added, “No sane person reading this complaint could credit this story. Mr. Combs looks forward to having his day in court, where these lies, and the perverse motives of those who told them — will be revealed.”

More Legal Trouble Awaits Diddy

Combs is also fighting several other lawsuits involving sexual misconduct. He has denied all charges. In a separate federal case, he has entered a not-guilty plea. His next court hearing is expected in May 2025. So far, lawyers for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Manzaro have not issued new public statements.
