Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh hosts luncheon interaction for schoolchildren of J&K

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, today hosted a luncheon interaction for school children from remote areas like Desa, Gandoh, Bhalla, and others in the hill district of Doda, Jammu & Kashmir.

The students, who arrived in the national capital earlier in the day as part of the ‘Bharat Darshan Tour’ organized by 33 Battalion, CRPF, were greeted by Dr. Jitendra Singh. District Doda falls under the Lok Sabha constituency represented by Dr. Jitendra Singh.

Addressing the students, Dr. Singh highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the enhanced opportunities and infrastructure development in the region. He urged the students to be catalysts for change and contribute to the effective implementation of PM Modi’s reforms in Jammu & Kashmir.

The students expressed their appreciation for the developmental works in their area and praised Dr. Jitendra Singh’s efforts in bringing about positive changes under PM Modi’s leadership.

They cited examples such as the ‘purple revolution’ in Bhaderwah and expressed optimism about the future opportunities in agri-startups like lavender cultivation.

Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized PM Modi’s vision in uplifting Jammu & Kashmir, stating that the region has witnessed a transformation from darkness to hope under his leadership. He highlighted initiatives such as the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit J&K’ campaign aimed at ensuring the saturation of Central Government welfare schemes in remote villages of J&K.

The interaction concluded with Dr. Singh encouraging the students to become agents of change and contribute to the development of their region, echoing PM Modi’s vision of a prosperous and vibrant India.
