Following Donald Trump’s recent victory over Kamala Harris in the US elections, security has intensified at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Video footage circulating online shows a robotic dog patrolling the property, a new addition to the President-elect’s security measures.
“Donald Trump has reportedly bolstered Mar-a-Lago’s security with a robotic dog, which features a warning sign reading ‘Do Not Pet,’” X user Collin Rugg noted. The robotic canine, manufactured by Boston Dynamics, is equipped with advanced surveillance technology, according to reports. Reuters confirmed that the robot was seen outside Mar-a-Lago after Trump’s election win.

In a statement to the New York Post, a US Secret Service spokesperson emphasized the agency’s commitment to securing the President-elect. “While we can’t discuss specific capabilities, the robotic dogs are equipped with surveillance technology and various sensors to aid protective operations,” the spokesperson shared.
As Trump’s primary residence and political headquarters, Mar-a-Lago has seen increased security with this high-tech addition, though it’s unclear how long the robotic dog has been in place. According to reports, robotic hounds are becoming a favored tool for law enforcement agencies to enhance safety in their operations.
