Australian influencer Sarah Stevenson, popularly known as Sarah’s Day, recently sparked an online debate with an unconventional holiday tradition. In a video shared on Instagram, Stevenson is seen offering breast milk to her colleagues during a Christmas party and on a boat trip with her team. Some accepted the offer, while others declined.
However, the video captured a different type of reactions from her co-workers and was even declined by her husband and older child. Sharing her experience, Stevenson jokingly wrote in the post, “Are they really true friends if they don’t try your freshly pumped breastmilk?!” She also described the experience as “actually yummy!”

The clip went viral almost instantly, garnering a surge of responses from her 1.2 million Instagram followers. Even though some viewers were quite supportive and even shared some of their own experiences with the act, others felt baffled by it.
One viewer said, “Totally have used it in my morning tea in a pinch.” Another confessed, “I’ve breastfed 3 babies and have never ever tried my breast milk.” A third shared, “Mine tasted like the milk left after eating a sweet kids cereal. I was so shocked at how good it really is.”
While others thought that such a thing was strange and expressed their views simply by saying “Nope. Never”, this viewer summarized the emotions better by saying, “This is nature, but still so wild all at once.” Stevenson’s video, complete with frank reaction, continues to talk to people about the borders on sharing and personal experience.
