President-elect Donald Trump has called out President Joe Biden as the “worst president” in U.S. history, blaming him for the recent terror attack in New Orleans and the worsening state of national security. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Trump condemned Biden’s handling of border security and accused his administration of failing to protect American citizens from rising threats.

Biden’s “Open Border” Policies Blamed for Terror Threats

Trump’s criticism focused heavily on Biden’s “open border” policies, which he claims have fueled an increase in violent crime and terrorism across the U.S. Referring to the deadly New Year’s Eve attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Trump wrote, “With Biden’s open borders, I warned that Radical Islamic Terrorism and violent crime would become so severe it would be hard to believe. That time has come—worse than imagined.”

Trump went on to label Biden’s presidency a “complete and total disaster,” further accusing the president of allowing America to become a “laughing stock.” He also took aim at the federal agencies, claiming they were too preoccupied with “unlawfully attacking their political opponents,” specifically Trump himself, instead of focusing on safeguarding the nation.

New Orleans and Las Vegas Explosion Heighten Security Concerns

The criticism comes in the wake of a devastating terror attack on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans. A truck driven by U.S. Army veteran Shamsud Din Jabbar rammed into a crowd of New Year’s revelers on Bourbon Street, killing at least 15 and injuring over 30 others. Hours later, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas, killing its driver.

Trump, pointing to these events, emphasized the need for stronger leadership to restore order. “The USA is breaking down,” he warned. “A violent erosion of safety, national security, and democracy is taking place. Only powerful leadership will stop it.”

As Trump prepares for his second term, he expressed confidence that his return to office will bring a change in direction. “The Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our country,” Trump stated, calling on the CIA and other agencies to take action before it is too late.
