On Tuesday night, a tragic car accident occurred on National Highway-48 near Shishod village in the Bechriwada police station jurisdiction. Three cousins who were returning home from a wedding lost their lives in the collision with a container truck. The victims were from Dungarpur. Around 1 am, a container truck and a car collided on National Highway-48 near Shishod village. The truck was coming from behind at high speed when it crashed into the car. The impact of the collision was so severe that the container dragged the car forward for about 30 feet. In the accident, the occupants of the car, Pankaj, Akshay, and Mahesh, suffered serious injuries to their heads, hands, and legs. All three died at the scene. According to Head Constable Shishupal Singh from Bechriwada police station, Pankaj (25), son of Rakesh Damor, Akshay (27), son of Praveen, and Mahesh (26), son of Devchand Damor, were cousins who had attended a relative’s wedding in Kushal Mangari village. They were returning home by car after the wedding when the incident occurred.
