Newly married couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are setting relationship goals. Recently, Sonakshi shared a reel on her Instagram stories where Zaheer Iqbal is seen walking inside what appears to be a shopping mall, carrying Sonakshi’s shoes while she walks barefoot. Sonakshi captioned the video with, “When you marry the greenest flag ever.” The couple tied the knot last Sunday after dating for seven years, followed by a grand reception party following their civil wedding on June 23.
Sharing her wedding pictures, Sonakshi Sinha penned a heartfelt note. She reminisced, “Seven years ago today (23.06.2017), we looked into each other’s eyes and found love in its purest form, choosing to cherish it forever.” She expressed gratitude that their love had guided them through challenges and victories, culminating in their marriage. “With the blessings of both our families and gods, we are now husband and wife,” she added. Sonakshi concluded, “Here’s to love, hope, and everything beautiful, together, from now until eternity.” She captioned the post, “Sonakshi weds Zaheer. 23.06.2024.” Sonakshi adorned her mother’s vintage saree and jewellery for the wedding.
