On Friday, rescuers continued their search in the dense jungle of Chacheongsao province, Thailand, for nine individuals missing after a turboprop Plane Crash southeast of Bangkok. Authorities have little hope for survivors as all on board are presumed dead.

Crash Details and Casualties

The plane, en route from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport to Trat province, crashed around 3:10 PM local time on Thursday. The aircraft carried nine people, including two pilots and seven passengers. The passengers comprised four Thais and five Chinese nationals, including two children aged 12 and 13.

Ongoing Search and Challenges

Over 300 military personnel and volunteers have been mobilized for the search operation. Despite discovering body parts and aircraft debris, the efforts are being hampered by heavy rainfall and waterlogged areas. Chacheongsao governor Chonlatee Yangtrong emphasized, “We are committed to continuing the search despite the challenging conditions.”

Investigation Underway

Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the Plane Crash. As the search continues, the focus remains on recovering all individuals and understanding the factors leading to this tragic incident.
