On January 22, on the day of the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, decorations will be carried out in thousands of temples across the state. There will be worship and rituals along with consecration ceremonies. Bhajans and kirtans will be performed, and prasad distribution will also take place. In addition to this, just like in Ayodhya, lamps will be lit in all the temples. The Department of Devasthan has issued orders regarding this.
Devasthan Minister Joraram Kumawat said that the consecration of Lord Rama is like a festival all over the country. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm throughout the country, which has never been seen before. In the state as well, the Devasthan Department will celebrate it like a festival.

In fact, on the occasion of the consecration of the Ram Temple, the BJP has launched the Clean Pilgrimage Campaign across the country. Under this, special campaigns for cleanliness will be conducted in temples until January 22. In the state too, the government and the organisation are running this campaign. Meanwhile, instructions have been given to do special decorations in all the temples on January 22. He informed the officials that there are a total of 593 temples under the department.

For decoration in these temples, the department has also released Rs 10,000 per temple.
Devesthan Minister Joraram Kumawat said, “Those temples that are not under the jurisdiction of the temple department, are also requested to decorate their premises. These temples are operated by trusts and various committees. We have appealed that public participation should also be involved in decorating these temples.”

He said that on January 22, the priests and managers of the 100 best-decorated temples in the state will be honoured by the Devasthan Department. For this, on January 21, the department will launch a website. Where photos and videos of temple decorations can be uploaded. The department’s team will select the temples with the best decorations from these photos and videos.
