The iQOO Z11 is set to launch in India on August 20, 2026, and the company has already revealed a substantial portion of its specifications ahead of the official unveiling. Unlike the iQOO Z11 sold in China, the Indian model is being positioned as a distinct device with a redesigned appearance, a curved AMOLED display and different chipset. The phone has not officially launched in India, so its final retail price, RAM and storage configurations and some remaining specifications are still awaiting the launch event. However, iQOO has confirmed several major details, including the processor, battery capacity, display characteristics, camera setup, durability ratings and software support.

iQOO Z11 Launch

iQOO will be the third model in the company’s Z11 family in India, following the Z11 Lite and Z11x. The company has also confirmed that the iQOO Buds TWS earbuds will be launched alongside the smartphone. One of the biggest talking points is that the Indian iQOO Z11 is not simply a direct copy of the Chinese model.

iQOO CEO Nipun Marya reveals that the Indian model was designed around research into how college students use smartphones for classes, commuting, entertainment, assignments and other daily activities. This is also why the company opted for a different design and an emphasis on AI-powered productivity features.

iQOO Z11 India Colours And Launch Date

The iQOO Z11 is confirmed to launch in India on August 20, 2026. The smartphone will be available in two colour options, Aurora Green and Celestial Blue. iQOO has also confirmed that the Z11 will be sold in India through Amazon.

iQOO Z11 Expected Price In India

iQOO has indicated that the Z11 will be priced below Rs 40,000 in India. The company has not yet announced the exact launch price or the complete RAM and storage lineup as of August 19.

This puts the Z11 in the upper mid-range segment, where it will face competition from phones such as the Motorola Edge 70 Pro and other performance-focused smartphones. The actual value proposition will depend heavily on the final configuration and launch price.

iQOO Z11 Processor: Dimensity 7500 Turbo Confirmed

The iQOO Z11 will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor. iQOO has positioned it as the first smartphone in India to launch with this chipset. The company has also claimed that the phone has crossed 1.2 million points on AnTuTu, although benchmark results can vary depending on software, testing conditions and configuration.

The chipset is also central to iQOO’s AI pitch. According to the company, its dedicated AI hardware can deliver up to twice the AI performance of the previous-generation processor, supporting features such as real-time transcription, translation, summarisation and writing assistance. The performance positioning is therefore broader than gaming. iQOO is targeting students and younger consumers who need the phone for multitasking, productivity, entertainment and everyday use.

iQOO Z11 Battery And 144Hz Curved AMOLED Display

The iQOO Z11 will feature a 7,050mAh battery, which is one of the phone’s biggest hardware highlights. iQOO has confirmed the battery capacity, although the company had not publicly confirmed the Indian model’s charging speed in the latest information available before launch.

The phone will also have a 6.8-inch-class 3D curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is also expected to include eye-care features such as Eye Protection Mode, Sleep Comfort Mode and anti-fatigue brightness adjustment.

iQOO Z11 Camera Specifications Revealed

iQOO has now confirmed the Indian Z11’s camera configuration. The phone will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole display.

The inclusion of OIS on the main camera should help with stability for handheld photography and video, while the ultra-wide camera adds more flexibility for landscapes and group shots. However, the confirmed setup does not include a dedicated telephoto camera, so buyers should not expect optical zoom capabilities comparable to more camera-focused phones in higher price segments.

iQOO Z11 AI Features Are Major Focus

AI is one of the main themes of the Indian iQOO Z11 launch. The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is confirmed to support features including AI Captions, AI Creation, AI Routing, Conversation Memory and Circle to Search. AI Transcript Assist is also part of the software experience.

AI Captions can provide real-time transcription, translation and summarisation, while AI Creation is designed for tasks such as writing, rewriting, summarising and refining content. iQOO’s official Z11 materials for other markets also describe AI tools for transcription, translation and text editing. The company is also offering unlimited AI credits for AI Captions and AI Creation to students, This is particularly relevant because iQOO is explicitly positioning the Z11 around college students and young consumers.

iQOO Z11 Software Support Gets Major Upgrade

The iQOO Z11 will receive three major Android upgrades and five years of security updates, according to the latest company-confirmed information. With Android 16 as the starting point, this means major Android updates are expected through Android 19. That is a notable change for the Z series because longer software support gives the phone a stronger long-term value proposition, particularly for buyers who plan to keep their smartphone for several years.
