July 23 – Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was one of the most talked-about events of the year, and now a technician who worked on the sangeet ceremony has shared some behind-the-scenes details in a podcast.

Yash Gupta, a technician from the company that provided equipment for the sangeet, appeared on the RealTalk podcast and shared his experiences from the week he spent at the Jio World Centre before the event.

Gupta revealed that he had the chance to see many celebrities, including Salman Khan, practicing for the sangeet, and he got a close look at the Ambani family’s preparations.

Nita Ambani’s Attention to Detail

According to Gupta, Nita Ambani, wife of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, was very hands-on during the preparations. She was present at the practices regularly and made sure everything was perfect. “She is very particular,” Gupta said, explaining that Mrs. Ambani was involved in every detail, from the seating arrangements to the color theme of the event.

What You Didn’t See Online

While many photos and videos from the sangeet were shared on social media, Gupta revealed some things that weren’t seen online:

• Karan Johar hosted a fun rapid-fire round with Anant and Radhika during the sangeet.
• The food at the event was diverse and delicious, featuring sushi, butter chicken, pasta, and pizza. Although the Ambani family members are vegetarians, top-shelf liquor was served to all the guests, but the family members themselves did not drink.

Gupta also mentioned that there was a plan for Bruno Mars to perform at the sangeet, but ultimately it was Justin Bieber who took the stage.
