New Delhi [India], October 14 (ANI): Apple has introduced a new black-and-white app icon for Apple Music with the release of iOS 27.2 beta 4, replacing the red-and-white design that has been associated with the app for years.

The update was released on October 13, bringing several additional visual changes to Apple Music, 9to5mac reported.

Alongside this change, the Music app in iOS 27.2 now uses blue in the tab bar for the currently active tab—a stark shift from the previous red/pink branding. Widgets for the Music app similarly now use simple black backgrounds instead of the iconic red/pink.

Additionally, in your Library, the list of different sections like Playlists, Albums, Artists, and Songs have all had color removed in favor of a black-and-white design.

Also, Apple is reportedly planning to hold sessions for content creators in Los Angeles on October 27 and 28 to showcase its upcoming Mac computers and an OLED iPad mini.

According to reports, the company may announce the new devices through a press release, followed by an in-person event where content creators and members of the media will get an opportunity to experience the products first-hand.

The new Macs will debut in October, but won’t ship to customers until November. With an October 27 announcement, pre-orders could happen that same day and a launch could follow as soon as November 6, as per macrumors. (ANI)
