Lalita D Silva, Taimur Ali Khan’s pediatric nurse, has recently shared her insights on working with celebrity families and her thoughts on effective parenting. Lalita gained attention after being spotted with Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s children, Taimur and Jeh, whether dropping them off at school or playing outside their home. Despite her efforts to maintain privacy as per the parents’ wishes, Lalita found herself in the media spotlight, becoming a focal point for paparazzi.
In a new podcast for Hindi Rush, Lalita opened up about her experiences with celebrity children, including Mukesh Ambani’s sons, Anant and Akash Ambani. She noted that, contrary to public perceptions, celebrities are highly caring and loving parents. “They are very attentive and nurturing,” Lalita said.
When discussing parenting practices, Lalita emphasized that while giving children money for educational games or puzzles can be beneficial, many families she worked with strictly limit screen time. She acknowledged that today’s children are often more mature compared to previous generations.
Lalita also shared her views on teaching children about traditions and culture. “Teaching good tradition and culture doesn’t mean parents have to enforce reading religious texts. It’s more about how parents interact with their children—keeping stress away and being playful. These actions significantly shape their behavioral patterns and strengthen their bond,” she explained.
Nurse Lalita’s reflections provide a unique glimpse into the world of celebrity parenting and underscore the universal principles of nurturing and guiding children.
