Since 2018, India has reported over 400 cases of workplace sexual harassment annually, with an average of 445 cases per year, according to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data. In 2022, the latest available data shows over 419 cases, averaging around 35 per month. Himachal Pradesh had the highest number of cases that year with 97, followed by Kerala with 83, Maharashtra with 46, and Karnataka with 43. West Bengal.
