Once again in Rajasthan, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will be able to conduct investigations into all cases based on general consent. This means it will not have to seek permission from the government for the investigation of each case.
The Bhajan Lal government has issued orders for general consent regarding the investigation of cases by the CBI. It is worth noting that the previous Congress government had withdrawn the general consent given to the CBI for the investigation of various cases.
According to the proposal, now the Central Bureau of Investigation will not require the state government’s permission for research in each case in the state.
By issuing a notification in this regard from the Home Department, the CBI will be able to take prompt and effective action against corrupt individuals. The Chief Minister stated that with this decision, the CBI will be able to take effective action against corrupt individuals in the state, putting a check on corruption.
