Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have officially parted ways. Speculation about their separation had been circulating on social media for months, fueled by cryptic posts from both. However, neither of them publicly addressed the situation or disclosed the reasons behind their decision.

Divorce Finalized at Bandra Family Court

As per a report by ABP News, the couple’s final hearing took place at the Bandra Family Court on Thursday, where both were physically present. The presiding judge advised them to undergo a 45-minute counseling session before making a final decision. Following this, both Chahal and Dhanashree confirmed their desire to separate through mutual consent.

18 Months of Living Apart

Reports also suggest that Chahal and Dhanashree had been living separately for the past 18 months. When asked about the reason for their divorce, the couple cited “compatibility issues.”

At approximately 4:30 PM on Thursday, the judge granted them an official divorce.

Cryptic Social Media Posts Before Final Hearing

Ahead of the final hearing, Chahal shared a reflective message on social media:

“God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen.”

Similarly, Dhanashree posted about faith and overcoming struggles:

“From stressed to blessed. Isn’t it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”

Although neither explicitly mentioned divorce, their posts hinted at the emotional journey they had been through.
