Pargat Singh joined Johnson, adding 16 more runs before falling to Craig Young after scoring 18 runs. Canada reached 42 when Pargat Singh departed. Dilpreet Bajwa came in but was dismissed for seven runs. Shreyas Movva replaced Bajwa, and after 10 overs, Canada were 63/4 with Kirton and Movva unbeaten.
Canada brought up their 100 in 15.2 overs as Kirton smashed a boundary. He scored 49 runs before being dismissed. Movva contributed 37 runs, but Canada could only manage 137/7. Young and McCarthy were the pick of the bowlers for Ireland, both taking two wickets each.
