He made us very proud, and I thank him for that,” he said. “My son made his debut century where legends like Sunil Gavaskar, VVS Laxman, and Ravi Shastri played. As a father, I had tears in my eyes. I pray he will score more centuries like this.”

Nitish’s sister, Tejaswi, also shared her excitement. “We are all very happy and proud. He promised to make us proud, and he did just that. We’re speechless. It’s his way of representing India,” she said.
