The Bhagavad Gita, part of the Mahabharata, contains timeless wisdom. While many are familiar with famous shlokas like “Karmanye vadhikaraste”, there are lesser-known verses that hold deep insights for life, decision-making, and personal growth.

Shloka on Self-Control

Translation: “Intellect, strength, moral values, courage, mind, discipline, and self-control – a person who cultivates these attains everything without doubt.”

Life Lesson: This shloka emphasizes that true strength lies in balancing mind, body, and ethics. Developing these qualities leads to success and inner peace.

Shloka on Equanimity

Translation: “A yogi who remains steady amidst pleasure and pain, wealth and loss, does not get destroyed or lose his inner self.”

Life Lesson: This shloka teaches emotional stability. Life will always bring highs and lows; maintaining calmness in all situations is the essence of wisdom.
