The BJP government is gearing up for action in the paper leak cases. In order to investigate the paper leak cases, the government has formed an SIT (Special Investigation Team) as per the orders of the Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma. It is worth noting that Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had announced the formation of an SIT to investigate the paper leak cases after taking charge.
In his first press conference after taking the oath, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated, “The guarantees given in the announcement letter by Prime Minister Modi will be adhered to. The issues troubling the people of the state will be addressed, including women’s safety, law and order, and the paper leak cases through the formation of the SIT.”
After the government’s announcement, an SIT has been formed under the leadership of an ADG-level officer to take strict action against those responsible for the paper leaks. Following the directives of CM Bhajan Lal, the Home Department issued orders to the DGP. For this purpose, under the leadership of ADG V.K. Singh, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed.
To prevent paper leaks, expedite the investigation of registered cases, and take action against the culprits, an additional DGP, V.K. Singh, is leading a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The investigation team consists of one ADG, one IGP/DIG/SP, four additional SPs, eight DSPs, 10 inspectors/SIs, 10 ASIs/Head Constables, and 15 constables, including computer operators, making a total of 50 members.
