Shekhawat slams Gehlot’s Mission-2030 as political gimmick

On Friday, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, interacted with the media at the BJP headquarters. On this occasion, he launched a scathing attack on CM Ashok Gehlot and the Congress party. Shekhawat stated that Rajasthan is not number one in any parameter. He mentioned the Mission-2030 vision document and said that if the government was concerned about the development of Rajasthan, they should have started this work as soon as they came into power.

Shekhawat asserted that Gehlot started working on Mission 2030 in the last few months of his tenure, while before that, he depleted the state’s natural resources. He claimed that Congress advanced populist schemes without any basis. Shekhawat rejected Gehlot’s vision, stating that the seven crore people of the state are questioning Mission-2030.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated, “The people of the state are determined to uproot this government. Therefore, to divert attention from their failures and hide their shortcomings, they are seeking refuge in various schemes.” He mentioned that the Chief Minister is saying that they have received suggestions from around 3 crore people, whereas this vision has been prepared entirely by the bureaucracy, which has compiled data from various sectors. He alleged that to cover up the failures in fulfilling their 2018 manifesto, the Congress party in the state have presented Vision-2030 in a new format.
