Satvant Singh Puniya, the former National Vice President of All India Kisan Morcha, is on a tour of Jaipur. He met with candidates contesting the tickets of the Bharatiya Janata Party on several seats in Jaipur city. On this occasion, Puniya said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would form the government in Rajasthan. He also said that the central government has implemented many schemes across the country, benefiting every section. Meanwhile, he accused the Congress government in Rajasthan of being submerged in corruption.
On the issue of politics related to the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), he said, “The central government is very serious about issues related to water. No politics is being played on this subject in any way.” He said that the current situation is such that the budget allocated by the central government to Rajasthan for the schemes is also not being used by the Rajasthan government. He added, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has made several promises in the manifesto for the farmers, youth, and women of Rajasthan. It is clear from this that the BJP will form the government here with a full majority.”
Meanwhile, he also targeted the statement of former Governor Satyapal Malik advising farmers not to vote for the BJP, saying, “Today farmers understand that the agricultural laws were in their interest…Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the entire country forward along with the farmers.”
