Salman Khan's Safety At Risk: Death Threat Sender Arrested In Jamshedpur

Mumbai Police have apprehended a man from Jamshedpur for allegedly threatening Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on behalf of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanding a ransom of ₹5 crore. The police launched an investigation after receiving a threatening message directed at the actor.

Threat Message Traced to Jharkhand

The threatening message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s control room on October 18. Following this, a case was registered against an unidentified individual. With the assistance of local authorities in Jamshedpur, police traced the sender’s location and arrested the suspect, who is expected to be brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Apology Followed by the Threat

Interestingly, just days after the initial threat, the same sender issued an apology to the Mumbai Traffic Police, claiming the message was “sent by mistake.” However, before this apology, the sender had warned that Khan’s life was in jeopardy unless the extortion money was paid. He stated, “Don’t take it lightly; if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹5 crore. If the money isn’t given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”

Context of the Threat

This incident comes in the wake of the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, heightening the concerns around threats made by organized crime syndicates. The Worli Police have filed a case concerning the threatening message, intensifying the investigation into potential links to criminal elements.

Khan’s Return to Bigg Boss 18 Amidst Turmoil

In the latest development, Salman Khan returned to host Bigg Boss 18 shortly after the death of his close friend Baba Siddique. In a recent episode, he expressed reluctance to be back on the show, citing his work commitments and the emotional strain he was experiencing during this difficult time. Khan noted that he wasn’t in the mood to meet anyone given the circumstances.

As investigations continue, the Mumbai Police are determined to ensure the safety of Salman Khan and address the broader issues related to threats from organized crime.
