Renowned luxury fashion designer Rohit Bal’s will has sparked a dispute, with former model and close associate Lalit Tehlan claiming possession of the document. According to Tehlan, a significant portion of Bal’s assets have been bequeathed to him. Meanwhile, Bal’s brother, Rajiv Bal, has asserted that the family also holds a will and is unaware of the one Tehlan claims to possess. Fondly known as Gudda, Rohit Bal passed away at the age of 63 on November 1.

Rajiv Bal expressed his family’s lack of knowledge about the will presented by Tehlan. As per media reports, Tehlan stated that Rohit Bal owned 99% of Rohit Bal Designs Pvt Ltd., while the remaining 1% was owned by Rajiv Bal, nicknamed Billa. Tehlan added that most of Bal’s assets are tied to the company, which requires two directors, and claimed that “a major chunk” of these assets, including “movable and immovable assets, his personal house, personal bank account, and fixed deposits,” would come to him.
