Following the conclusion of the voting process for the Rajasthan assembly elections, political leaders exhibited a demeanour of relaxation on Sunday. In the aftermath of election fatigue, numerous leaders were observed dedicating time to familial engagements and assisting family members in their activities. Subsequently, they engaged in serene discussions with party workers. Concurrently, several leaders maintained an unaltered routine, adhering to their customary waking hours. Commencing the day with religious observances, they proceeded to solicit feedback from party workers concerning the voting process.
Congress candidate from Sanganer Pushpendra Bhardwaj was seen spending time with his family on Sunday. Pushpendra Bhardwaj said, “My election was the election of the general public…Sanganer seat is considered a traditional seat of the BJP, but this time we too, had to try hard. We served the public by living among them for 5 years. Even during the Corona period, I lived among the people without worrying about my family. I am confident that its benefits will be visible in the election results.”
At the same time, a BJP candidate from Kishanpol, Chandramohan Batwada, also relaxed at his home and spent quality time with his family. He said that the increased voting percentage shows that the people want to overthrow the Congress government. Congress candidate from Hawamahal assembly RR Tiwari said that he woke up late to overcome the fatigue of voting on Sunday. He said, “I played chess with my grandchildren at home. After that, I went to Thakur Ji’s temple and had a darshan.”
Tiwari said that there is no rest in public life. He said “The sequence of sleeping late and waking up early in the election race was continuing for the last month. I am feeling relaxed after voting.” Regarding increasing the voting percentage, he said that this voting percentage is the result of the electoral guarantee of the Congress government.
BJP candidate from Hawamahal, Mahant Balmukund Acharya said that his routine was as usual. He said, “In the morning, as usual, I worshipped for two and a half hours. He went to Tadkeshwar temple and sought blessings. After that, he went to the ruined temple of the boundary wall and paid his homage to God.” He said, “We will again get the Lord consecrated in these temples.” He also claimed BJP’s victory in all 8 seats of Jaipur, including Hawamahal. Apart from Jaipur city seats, candidates from Jaipur rural seats also appeared in a relaxed mood. BJP candidate from Amer Assembly and Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia also had a relaxed discussion with the workers in the morning at his residence in Jaipur. He said that life is all about walking. Poonia said that he has dedicated his life to the public and the party, and now there is no getting tired, nor is there any stopping.
Poonia left for Jodhpur after meeting the workers this morning. He went to Sangh Pracharak Nimbaram’s residence in Jodhpur to pay his tributes to Nimbaram’s father, who passed away some time ago. Poonia also claimed that the election result was already decided and the public wanted to remove Congress and bring in the BJP. He said, “We will form the government with a huge majority.” At the same time, a Congress candidate from Virat Nagar Indraj Gurjar also spent time with the family. He also expressed his confidence in Congress’s victory and said, “The Congress government is going to be formed once again in the state.”
