In this situation, the speed of vehicles on the roads came to a halt. The cars were seen moving slowly. Meanwhile, flying in the sky became difficult for aeroplanes. Similarly, trains also got delayed due to the fog. It can be said that dense fog in the northern and eastern districts of the state became a cause of concern for the general public.
On Friday, dense fog covered more than a dozen cities in the state. The minimum temperature of 15 cities in the state was recorded below 10 degrees. The minimum temperature of Mount Abu hill station is recorded at 1.5 degrees Celsius. The temperature remained at 3.8 degrees in Fatehpur near Sikar. Meanwhile, a new western disturbance is active in the state on Sunday. This may result in light rainfall in some places in the state. The effect of og will also decrease due to the movement of clouds. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Sikar on Thursday night was 6.5, Pilani 6.7, Churu 7.5, Vanasthali 8.4, Alwar 8.5, Bikaner and Sangaria 9.3, and in Chittorgarh, Dabok, Baran, Sirohi, and Jaisalmer, it was recorded at 9.8 degrees Celsius. Dungarpur was the warmest at night with 14.4 degrees.
Coldest night of the season in Jaipur
Last night, Jaipur experienced the coldest night of the season.
The temperature in Jaipur fell by more than one degree beyond the outskirts.
The maximum temperature in Jaipur was 22, and the night temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius. Jaipur recorded a temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday night.
Dense fog was seen in Jaipur. Due to this, vehicle drivers had to turn on lights. Dense fog persisted until 11 p.m., after which a mild sunshine appeared. Clouds covered the sky throughout the day. A decrease of three degrees was recorded in the maximum temperature of Jaipur.
Due to the northern cold winds, there was a decrease of 5 in the maximum and 2 degrees in the minimum during the day on Friday. A decrease of 5 degrees Celsius in the daytime and up to 2 degrees Celsius in the night was recorded due to the northern cold winds. Sri Ganganagar and Baran saw a decrease of up to five degrees in the daytime, and Jaipur and some other cities saw a decrease of up to 2 degrees at night.
Due to the northern winds, seven cities in the state had a cold day. Hanumangarh was the coldest at 11.4 degrees in Sangaria.
