Due to an active western disturbance, there was rainfall on Monday morning in the districts of Jaipur, Udaipur, and Bharatpur in Rajasthan. The heaviest rainfall occurred in Barmer, with 60 mm.
The minimum temperature in Barmer on Sunday remained at 14 degrees Celsius due to the showers and overcast conditions. This is considered the coldest day of the season.
Meanwhile, light rain occurred in the morning in areas like Char Diwari, Delhi Road, and Adarsh Nagar in Jaipur. Before this, Jaipur experienced a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius on Sunday due to cloud cover throughout the day, which was 3 degrees Celsius below normal.
The minimum temperature in Barmer on Sunday night was 14.7 degrees Celsius, increasing only by 3 degrees Celsius throughout the day to reach 17.9 degrees Celsius.
In the southern part of the state, there was good rainfall late in the evening on Sunday. Apart from Banswara City, there was rainfall in Kesarapura (30 mm), Kushalgarh (38 mm), Jagpura (29 mm), and Ghatol (29 mm). In addition to this, several districts including Jhalawar, Chittorgarh, Baran, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Dungarpur, Sirohi, and others experienced good rainfall.
Kapasan in Chittorgarh received 25 mm, which is equivalent to one inch of rainfall.
The rain and cloud cover increased cold during the day in cities.
The maximum temperature in all cities remained below 25 degrees Celsius. Barmer had the coldest day, with a maximum temperature recorded at 17.9 degrees Celsius.
