Acting on police intelligence, the Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, on Thursday, demolished the residence of Rohit Rathore, one of the shooters involved in the assassination of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena.
Rohit Rathore, the accused in the murder case, resides in Jaipur’s Khatipura area. The Greater Jaipur Municipal Corporation team, equipped with a bulldozer, reached Rohit’s house in Sundar Nagar, Khatipura, initiating the demolition.
Notably, Rohit Rathore’s mother had vacated the house after the Gogamedi murder case. The Greater Jaipur Municipal Corporation, accompanied by a significant police force, demolished the illegal construction carried out by Rohit Rathore in Sundar Nagar on Thursday.
ADG Crime and AIGTF Dinesh MN stated that the identification of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s killers, Rohit Singh Rathore, and Nitin Fauji, led to their arrest on December 10 with the assistance of Delhi Police. Acting on information about illegal possession in Khatipura, the Greater Jaipur Municipal Corporation took action on Thursday, demolishing the illegal construction at shooter Rohit Rathore’s house in Sundar Nagar.
On December 10, the Jaipur Police arrested Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji in connection with the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. DGP Umesh Mishra informed that an SIT, supervised by ADG Crime Dinesh MN, was formed to investigate the murder, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is overseeing the entire case.
Police investigations into Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s murder uncovered shocking revelations. It was revealed during police interrogation that there was no settlement in Rohit Singh Rathore’s Poxo case. Gogamedi’s enmity with Rohit Singh escalated after he opposed a settlement.
Police further disclosed that Rohit had met Nitin Fauji before the incident. The primary informant in the case is identified as Veerendra Charan. Nitin Godara came in contact with Bhavani alias Roni in jail. Although the murder was initially planned in October, the execution was delayed due to the election code of conduct. Bhavani alias Roni, Rahul, and Sumit have been granted protection warrants by the police.
On December 5, around 1:12 pm in Jaipur, two assailants entered the residence of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, and fatally shot him. During the incident, Ajit Singh, Gogamedi’s guard, suffered severe gunshot wounds. Another individual present in the house was also seriously injured. Rohit Godara gang claimed responsibility for the gangster attack following the incident.
