On Sunday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting in Gothda (Bundi) and Dausa. He said, “The slogan of victory to Mother India is raised, but who is Bharat Mata? I want to find out who all are there in Bharat Mata. I want to know how many tribals, how many poor, how many rich are there in Bharat Mata.”
He said, “If we do not know in this country how many poor and how many rich people are there, then what does the victory of Mother India mean? Therefore, we need to bring about a revolutionary change in this country.” While advocating for a caste-based census, he said, “We will conduct a caste-based census. The population of backward classes in the country is about 50 per cent, but there is no role for Dalits in running the country.”
Forgiveness of money for industrialist friends
Rahul Gandhi questioned the BJP, saying, “The country is not run by MLAs or MPs but the government officials. That is why I asked Narendra Modi in Parliament that you call yourself OBC, but out of the 90 officials who run the country, how many are OBC, Dalits, or tribals? Narendra Modi said nothing.” Rahul Gandhi said, “Modi is continuously forgiving the money of his industrialist friends. A debt of 14 lakh crore rupees has been forgiven. Modi has killed the backward, Dalits, and tribals during COVID.”
Modi’s face is on TV for 24 hours
Rahul Gandhi also expressed objection to Narendra Modi appearing on TV for 24 hours. He said, “Every household in Rajasthan is getting free treatment. Whether it is cancer, liver problems, or diabetes. Our money is going into your pocket. His money is going into Adani’s pocket. Narendra Modi is visible 24 hours, but whose TV is it? This is also Adani’s. 14 lakh crore rupees have been forgiven, that’s why Modi’s face is visible 24 hours.”
Modi cannot do a caste census
Rahul said, “Narendra Modi cannot do a caste census. Only Rahul Gandhi and Congress can do a caste census. The day the caste census is done, and the day the backward, Dalits understand the importance of this census, the day the country will change. Now is the time to change the country. Two Hindustans have been created. One is the Hindustan of billionaires. When a farmer talks about forgiving loans, he is beaten with sticks in the BJP-ruled states, and they are thrown inside. Show one Dalit or tribal among the big industrialists of Hindustan, I will stop speaking. Theft is happening in front of you for 24 hours, so we want to create one Hindustan, not Adani’s Hindustan, but Bharat Mata’s victory Hindustan. The government of Rajasthan has given a guarantee of 7 things, but this is not the Modi-type guarantee that 15 lakhs will be deposited in the bank accounts.”
Money will be put in the pockets of the poor
Rahul said that in every household in Rajasthan, 10 thousand rupees will be put in the bank account of a woman. After the election, women will get a gas cylinder of 500 rupees. Talking about English schools, he said that the net of English schools has spread in Rajasthan. We have reintroduced the old pension scheme. 50 per cent of the money of Congress governments goes to OBCs and backward classes, but not to the BJP governments.
Our work is for the benefit of Dalits: Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi said, “We are for the benefit of Dalits. This time we did not give a ticket to the Congress MLA who harassed and beat Dalits. The BJP gave him a ticket straight away. This is their thinking. When the time comes to give rights, Modi ji says there is no caste, when the time comes to fight, everyone is born. This is their ideology. That’s why I have walked 4000 km to Kanyakumari.”
Rahul Gandhi discussed electoral activities at the PCC war room
After the gathering, Congress leader and the party’s former national president, Rahul Gandhi, reached the PCC War Room in Jaipur. During this visit, discussions were held regarding the ongoing election activities and the future strategy.
In this meeting, Pradesh Congress Central War Room Chairman Shashikant Senthil, Co-Chairman Lokesh Sharma, Jaswant Gurjar, and Captain Arvind Kumar discussed the ongoing activities and the future strategy related to the elections. In this discussion,
Pradesh Congress In-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was also present.
Co-Chairman of PCC Central War Room and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s Special Officer Lokesh Sharma informed Rahul Gandhi that a separate call centre is also working 24×7.
This call centre makes approximately 400 to 500 calls daily to various constituencies, assessing the real-time situation and creating a report. Continuous monitoring is being carried out for this as well so that real-time feedback from the public can be obtained. If necessary, changes can be made to the party’s election campaign strategy based on that feedback, ensuring the return of the Congress government in the state.
Rahul Gandhi also boosted the morale of the team working in the War Room for 24 hours to ensure the Congress’s victory.
