In the Laddewali area, residents staged a protest today against the government’s delay in opening the completed Railway Over Bridge (ROB), causing a massive gathering that resulted in a roadblock. Although the ROB has been completed for the past 20 days, it hasn’t been opened to the public yet. Consequently, residents of Kote Ramdas and Laddewali areas protested vigorously today, raising slogans against the government and causing a traffic jam. People question why the ROB, which is already completed, hasn’t been inaugurated yet.

Upon hearing about the roadblock, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raman Aroda also arrived at the scene, but people protested against him as well, questioning why the bridge isn’t being opened when it’s ready. MLA Raman Aroda explained to the crowd that due to high voltage lines over the ROB, it hasn’t been opened yet. However, it will be opened very soon. After this, the MLA calmed the public and cleared the roadblock. MLA Raman Aroda mentioned that there will be a meeting on Friday with officials from the railway, electricity, and other departments to resolve any issues, ensuring the bridge’s opening on Friday.
