Prince Harry is reportedly struggling to adjust to life in the United States and has become “an angry boy,” according to The Sunday Times, citing a close friend. Since moving to the US with Meghan Markle in 2020, Harry is said to “desperately miss” Britain. His friend noted, “He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out how he wanted. I think he misses being over here (in Britain) desperately and wants to be admired more. Anyone who knows him feels he’d rather be top of the pops here with everyone loving him, as they do with (Prince) William and Kate.”

Since their relocation, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to the UK only a few times. They have been engaged in various high-profile projects, including a Netflix documentary series, an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and the release of Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare’.

Some friends suggest that Harry and Meghan could have left the Royal Family “with dignity and decency and not trashed the institution,” adding, “The conclusion is they’ve made money from trashing his family.” Another friend criticized Harry for publicly discussing family matters, saying, “I can’t believe he’d stoop so low. It’s outrageously disloyal. Oprah, Netflix and then the book? Three strikes and you’re out.”

Former advisers and acquaintances observe that Harry appears to be at a crossroads, with one noting, “All he does is spend time looking back. If only he could wrench his neck around and look forward.” A long-time acquaintance remarked that Harry has become “isolated from his family and most of his old mates” and is now in an environment where “your friendships are not like the ones you forged as a young man.”
