Pragati Mahotsav celebrated by Technical Education Department

The Technical Education Department of Rajasthan held ‘Pragati Mahotsav’ at the Rajasthan International Center, Jhalana, on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. Chaired by Dr. Manju Baghmar, Minister of State for Public Works, Women and Child Development, and Child Rights, the event showcased programs from government polytechnic colleges. Activities included project exhibitions, textile design displays, artwork presentations, apparel showcases, and discussions with industry leaders. The Pragati Mahotsav not only celebrated cultural heritage but also aimed to empower students with skills and values essential for their future success in a rapidly evolving job market. The guests included Dr. Aarushi Malik, IAS, Government Secretary of Higher and Technical Education, and Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehrada, Director General of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau. Dr. Baghmar urged students to embrace the ideals of Shri Ram and promote Swadeshi values during the celebrations. Dr. Malik announced the implementation of the Kayakalp scheme across all government polytechnic colleges, aimed at enhancing educational quality, achieving 100% student employment, improving infrastructure, promoting moral education, and securing NBA accreditation for divisional polytechnic colleges.
Additionally, the placement and complaint redressal portal for the technical education department was inaugurated during the event. Dr. Mehrada emphasized the importance of using the internet and computer technology responsibly.
