In an operation, yesterday, the Jaipur police, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police (SP) Deshmukh, have taken significant action against the use of illegal firearms and criminal gangs. IPS officer Pariss Deshmukh, known for his resolute stance against criminals, has recently taken charge as SP in Sikar. Since assuming his new role, he has initiated a major crackdown on criminal activities in the region. Over the years, the Shekhawati area has seen a rise in criminal activities, with gangs taking refuge in the Aravalli mountain ranges. In response, SP Deshmukh devised a comprehensive plan to dismantle these gangs and curb criminal activities.
Under the guidance of SP Deshmukh, CO Jakir Akhtar and SHO Rhea Choudhary have been assigned the responsibility of eradicating criminal gangs in the Shekhawati region. They have led a relentless operation in the dense forests of the Aravalli mountains, where criminals were planning robberies, dacoities, and even murders. As a result of their efforts, seven members of these gangs, including their leader Ashok Saansi alias Tony, were apprehended.
During the operation, the police recovered a cache of illegal firearms, including pistols and cartridges, along with other items such as iron rods and chilli powder.
SP Pariss Deshmukh explained that this operation was part of a broader campaign to combat illegal firearms and criminal gangs in the region. The police were able to track down and apprehend these criminals with the help of valuable information. These criminals were involved in various crimes, including loot, dacoities, and murder.
Deshmukh emphasized that the police are committed to maintaining law and order, and anyone involved in criminal activities, especially those who follow or support criminal leaders, will not escape justice. He also issued a warning to the youth, urging them to stay away from such criminals and not idolize them. The police will continue their efforts to rid the region of criminal gangs and ensure the safety of its residents.
It’s important to note that before this assignment, SP Pariss Deshmukh successfully led the “Operation Seema” campaign during his tenure as SP in Sri Ganganagar, where he focused on making the district drug-free. Now, in Shekhawati, he has set his sights on dismantling criminal gangs that have been causing havoc in the region for years.
