Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Somnath temple to offer prayers on Sunday.
The weekend-long visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to poll-bound Gujarat is slated to include at least eight events spread out across the state from Saurashtra to Surat.
The Prime Minister is also the chairman of the Somnath Trust.
The PM is slated to speak at four rallies in the Saurashtra region after touring the Somnath Temple. Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli, and Botad have been chosen as the final venues.
