With Lok Sabha election 2024 due in the next couple of months, political parties and alliances are gearing up for the mega electoral battle. Leading the BJP’s charge is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is already touring the country to enthuse his party cadres and set the stage for elections. During his visit to Jharkhand’s Dhanbad, PM Modi on Friday announced that the National Democratic Alliance which is led by his party is eyeing to cross the 400-seat mark in 545-member Lok Sabha during the election.

Addressing a public rally in Dhanbad, the prime minister stated that the Indian electorate has shown faith in his vision and promises time and again and it will continue to do so in Lok Sabha election 2024. He said that the slogan of ‘abki baar 400 paar’ is being raised because the country has faith in “Modi’s guarantee”.

“The slogan of ‘400 paar’ is being raised because the country has faith in Modi’s guarantee… I want to apologize that the ‘pandal’ is too small today. Only 5 per cent of the people are inside, the rest 95 per cent are outside in the sun,” the Prime Minister said.

Expressing complete confidence in the NDA retaining power at the Centre with a huge majority, PM Modi the alliance would easily cross 400 seats in the Lok Sabha.

Targeting the opposition led by the Congress. he said that his rivals have no vision for the development of the country. “Congress and its alliance parties are the biggest enemies of development… The foundation stone of the Electricity power plant of North Karanpura was laid by former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the end of the previous century… After that, the scammer government of Congress came into power and this project was shut down… In 2014, I gave a guarantee of reviving this project. Today, a no. of houses are lightened because of this power plant” the Prime Minister said.
