On the occasion of Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his tribute. On November 14, government pay tribute to the late prime minister and plan memorial services. Students across the country participate in games, competitions, and other events planned for November 14. November 20 was designated as Universal Children’s Day by the UN in 1954, and India used to observe it. However, following Prime Minister Nehru’s passing in 1964, a resolution was unanimously approved by the Parliament designating November 20 as National Children’s Day.
